  Dıvıng

The diving areas around Fethiye and Ölüdeniz offer some of the best preserved dive sites in the Mediterranean. The water is for the most part very clear and in places it is possible to see objects lying on the seabed more than ten meters below.
The colour and variety of under- water flora and fauna is tremendous, the diversity of sponges alone is a subject for study, while the antics of small fish can be captured on underwater camera

  Trekking

The starting point of this tour is Gombe, a typical traditional mountain

town. On the first day we climb to the plateau by vehicle and then walk to the campsite.

  Jeeb Safari

Suzuki Jeep Samurai (4x4 WD). Drive yourself or be driven. Visit historical sites, drive through beautiful scenery of mountains and pine forests making your way towards Saklikent Hidden Canyon. After an open buffet lunch you will follow the river to Xanthos to explore the ruins before heading off the Patara, one of Turkey's longest sandy beaches to swim and soak up the sun.
Exact details of each right from your hotel reception or travel egent.

  Horse Rıdıng

A typical day's ride includes-a guided ride around Kaya Peace village. Hack the nomad trails round the valley. Visit uncharted Lycian tombs dating 1400 BC. Ride through tobacco plantations. Lunch with a village family and learn to make village bread. For more experienced riders, swimming in the sea with the horses. Ride to nomad camp (seasonal). Tuition and advice available if required.   Paragliding

"Flying....One of the oldest dreams of human! Paragliding activity will be combined with any proposed and suitable itinerary. Therefore please, contact for the details on prices of both individuals and groups. In the early 80's the first step was made off a hill with a ram-air type skydiving parachute in the Alps. It was the first time that the idea of foot-launching a chute from hills was made real.

  Boat Tirip

Daily 12 Islands Boat Cruise in Fethiye

Once you come to Fethiye, you have to go on 12 Islands Boat Cruise. The hundreds of double-Decker boats you see in Fethiye as you wonder around the marina and the harbour, are ready to take you to this tour. Each has a capacity from 50 up to 150 people and all of them has toilets and a self-service bar; and most of them are built in the dockyards in Fethiye. They depart between 10:00-11:00 every morning and come back to Fethiye harbour about 17:30 - 18:30 in the evening. The lunch is included in the tours which is usually pasta -meatballs (sometimes chicken or fish)- salad and fruit (water melon) (a good menu if you think that you're on water). If you want to enjoy the sun, then your place is upstairs; but be careful because, the sun burns you a bit too much and you don't feel it since it will be quite windy on the sea. You'll feel it at night after the shower, which usually ends up with the creams and lotions the doctor gives. But if you want to enjoy the tour in the shade and watch around, you'd better stay downstairs drinking your tea, coffee, or a cold drink (maybe playing backgammon with the crew).

  Beach Tour

Ölüdeniz beach

If you've ever been into a travel agents offering holidays to Turkey then you've probably seen pictures of Oludeniz. Second only to the Istanbul skyline, the lagoon features on a multitude of posters, postcards and brochure pages. It's not surprising as the characteristic shape of the coastline here has resulted in a unique bit of beach. It actually is gorgeous and the inevitable development of the little village (I think there was one here once) has been fairly restrained. A couple of years ago there were more building sites than sun loungers within 10km of the lagoon but everything seems to be settling down now and it's still a very nice place to be.

Here's a photo I took from the front seat of a tandem paraglider, more on that later. The colours don't look real and it gets even crazier when you're there. 'The gem of the Turquoise Coast'? It's as close to Turquoise as I've ever seen.

Belcekız beach

A range of places to stay, drink and eat. Nothing really top end here, which doesn't do the place any harm. The usual crowd is a mix of independent travellers and package folk who've come for a good time. It has to be said that it's busy as hell in the summer. That's not necessarily a bad thing. A crowd can make for a good time and the beaches, both the free expanse in front of the town and the nearly free bit around the lagoon have a fairly high capacity. You can swim from May onwards with little hardship but take some thongs 'cos it's a little pebbly in places. You might find accommodation a little tricky during high season but if your packaging it, as most people here are, then you're sorted and there are enough low end rooms and camp sites to make it feasible to come through on a whim.
You wont find the opportunities for clubbing that are available in Bodrum and Marmaris but you can always do that at home.
This area of Turkey has loads of stuff to see and do and it's a shame not to get off the beach. The paraglide has to be one of the biggest pulls and it's a bit special

Çalış Beach

Calis beach is located 5km along the coast from Fethiye town and comes alive during the Summer season, providing an excellent choice for a perfect relaxing holiday.

The 2km promenade along the beach is lined with restarants and bars to accomodate all tastes. Sunsets are spectacular from here! Don't be tempted to go into the first restaurant you see. The locals are very friendly and will be encouraging you to sample the delights of their restaurants everywhere you go.

Saklıkent

Saklikent is situated approx 30 miles from Fetiye surrounded by the Toros mountains. It boasts an 18km gorge vistied by millions of tourists. The sides are so steep and narrow that the sun does not penetrate the icy water. Once inside the magnificence of the gorge and its limestone walls towering above you will take your breath away literally. A wide selection of tea rooms and riverside restaurants.

kayaköy

Kaya village is 8 kilometres from Fethiye if you take the mountain road to the south of Fethiye. An alternative route is via the western road from the Hisarönü junction on the Fethiye-Ölüdeniz highway.  The first road takes you to the northern entrance of the village and the second one arrives at the eastern entrance to the small plain surrounded by mountains which the residents of the region call the Kaya Valley. Just past the entrance from Hisarönü, visitors are met by abandoned buildings which were vacated during the population exchange in 1923. At the northern entrance, the visitor has a superb panoramic view of Kaya Valley, towered over by the magnificent Father Mountain (Baba Dağ) to the east.  Whatever route you choose to take you to the Kaya valley, it is suggested that you leave by the alternative road to get a clearer impression of the surroundings and the overall view. If you look around you on the journeys to and from the village by either route you will be able to see sections of the ancient stone roads that used to be used to and from Fethiye

The historical geographer Strabon, ends his description of the city and the harbour of Telmessos in the Lycian region by saying, “...one reaches a steep and difficult place, Karmylessos is located here along a narrow and deep river...” this depicts the existence of the ancient city of Karmylessos, but its exact location has not yet been ascertained, however it is thought to be in the vicinity of Telmessos. Certain superficial studies and signs identify the ancient City of Karmylessos as the present-day Kaya Village. Although there are a number of ruins from the antique period in and around Kayaköy, these are insufficient to establish the existence of a city in this area
